I came to dentistry the long way around. Before dental school I spent my undergrad years studying biochemistry and biology at CSU Channel Islands — a stretch of late nights and lab work that I still think shaped how I approach things today.

Loma Linda

I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery at Loma Linda University, and I'm still there now, a few years into my residency. It's a busy season — full-time training tends to be — but it's exactly where I want to be right now.

How I think

The science background never really left me. I like understanding the why behind something before I trust it, and I'd rather explain things plainly than hide behind jargon. Most of what keeps teeth healthy isn't complicated — it just doesn't always get explained in a way that sticks.

Since I'm focused on training, I'm not in practice at the moment. Think of this site as a place to get to know me and pick up a few useful basics — not a clinic.
